it's official, I'm going to see them in Melbourne and in Sydney.

I interviewed Tegan for Tripple J last year. it was hilarious.
and back when Tegan and Sara used their email address, Tegan and I used to email each other. then I got an email from Sara saying that she's upset that I never email her and always email Tegan. so to make up for it I sent her an artwork I had made of her. she loved it, but then Tegan wanted one HHAHAHA.. oh they're crazy.

that jb hi fi instore was strange. AWESOME but strange.. what made it strange is that I discovered that I was standing behind my ex (who I didn't meet til Jan this year) the entire time. the side of her head is in all of my videos.. which is kinda creepy.. i swear it was an accident.

the story of the shopping is just that after soundcheck Sara wanted to go and get a present for Emy. We ended up at retro star, where she got herself a red t shirt and then we went to the melbourne sports depo and some other shop cos we were wandering around swanston st.. turns out I'm not fabulous at suggesting places to shop...


Ooh and because I'm sad and avoiding work, I made sms and ringtones from the con dvd. bwhahaha now I just keep on hearing 'that's a nice coat' or '*laughter* the people around me were intolerent to my differences' or 'I am now going to take my eyepatch off'

I am afraid I have not heard any of their songs,Cec, where do you recommend I start.

Umbrella was awesome! Great show, this was my first Tegan & Sara experience. The thing that strikes me most about T & S is their onstage banter. Sure they are chatter boxes but all their stories are really funny. Love their story about their mum in the 80s - go the lycra and Springsteen t-shirts!

Was nice catching up with Cec & Alice afterwards. Cheers guys

Oh My God... Melbourne show had a way better crowd and atmosphere.. but the girls seemed a bit awkward, like they didn't know what to say.
Sydney T&S were the best I can remember seeing them, mostly because of Tegan's back up vocals in like o like h... please tell me someone recorded that.. I used to be such a Sara fan but the way she just screamed those lines with her voice breaking... woah...

And Kaki King is awesome and her cover of that JT so was so incredibly hot. Unexpectedly so. I'm trying to find a recording of that too cos seriously.. wow..

yeh a friend of mine recorded the entire set. so as soon as I get it off her I'll give it to you


she did the same backing vocals for Like O, Like H for the spinner show earlier this year. it's hilarious
