I am a big Hilltop Hoods fan and while checking out their myspace page, I seen that Kate is in their 'Top Friends' list!?!

And also vice versa on her page!

Now I am wondering have they done anything together that I don't know about? Whats the connection there?

Just two local aussie bands recognising each other?

Last year at one of her Adelaide shows, I saw Suffa from the Hilltop Hoods at the bar with his missus. He was really enjoying it, too - laughing at all of Kate's jokes, and getting into the songs.

I keep speculating if they're going to work together, too. Kate doing the hook for a song on their new album would be awesome.

Are they working together?.......maybe

I had heard a little rumour about something along these lines happening myself, but it was quite some time ago, and nothing ever surfaced, so I had forgotten about it.

I do believe that the Hoods have access to some of Kates tracks and have looked at mixing them and giving them the Hoodie treatment. Will have to see if anything materialises.

well i seen them last week doing some stuff with 'Lowrider' so hopefully they are going to mix something up with Kate!

Yer, they've been mates with the Lowrider guys for years - have collaborated before. They're actually using Lowrider as their backing band for the entire Big Day Out tour, too!

Well you're in for a treat then 'cos they were pretty good value at Melbourne's BDO-they even had digs at Wayne Carey & Corey Worthington.And they had a string section as well as Lowrider so it was big a sound

yeah hilltops were good at the BDO.

Glad they have mixed it up a little, but I they are still playing the same songs as the last 4 or 5 times i have seen them, lol!

Looking forward to Hilltops playing the Clipsal 500 next month. Should be the biggest crowd they've ever played to.

Some rap dude used sarah blasko as a sample and that kinda never really got heard by many people

Samples are really a collaboration, though.

Suffa was playing around with a track but not sure where its at. I guess its in the back burner.

I figured he would have been the one wanting to collaborate. Not only did he seem to love Kate at the show I spotted him at, but he's easily the most creative and pop music minded of the three.

Guess we'll have to wait for the next HTH album
