Hi all,
Now that tickets are for sale for gigs on Kate's November 'Last Day On Earth Tour', I was wondering whose bought/buying tickets to which gigs?
this morning I bought me and a friend tickets to the GPAC show on tuesday November 24th (geelong, VIC), I initially wanted to go to The Forum (melbourne, VIC) gig also but after finding out those tickets were ~$50 I had to restrict myself to the one show, and the geelong one is just easier. Should be interesting to see Kate in a 'seated' theatre rather than the usual hustle and bustle (but fun) of the standing room only gigs. I will miss the opportunity of getting one of the bands setlists, and the signing, but since our seats are front row I'm hopeful that I just might be lucky enough to get a setlist, even if there is no opportunity to get it signed. *crosses fingers*
GPAC tickets are $38.60 and can be purchased from the website or at the GPAC box office desk.

I think only 2 of Kate's gigs that I've been to have been standing. The rest was all seated. This is more of a return, of sorts.

So Far, My 60th KMH show will be at Cronulla on the Saturday the 14th of November.
Then we move on to Newcastle on the 15th(Sunday).
Then a quick trip down to Canberra(after work on Tuesday the 17th).
Bit of a break until Friday night the 20th at the Enmore.
And then hopefully the 22nd at Panthers on Sunday the 22nd(If they can get the contract sorted out).
It would be really nice to get to do the Northern NSW show as well as the Qld gigs, but I just dont see it hapening
It will be great to catch up with everyone in person, as it has been a while, and it is still 2 months away.

I'm attending 4 NSW shows.
I'd love to make it to see her elsewhere aswell.
If only I was rich.
Also, I've never ever been to any seating/theatre shows either.
I've been to quite a few and they have all been standing.
I'm really looking forward to seeing her in that kind of atmosphere.
It will be nice to be able to sit and enjoy it without getting pushed around or having people spill their drinks on me.
Front row shall be mighty wonderful.
I wonder if we'll have the chance to grab setlists anymore?
It's a shame we all would have seen the last of the signings after shows though.
It'd be way too crazy now
I'm thankful I got a good run with her before she got this big
But anyways, i'm extremely excited for this tour.
November can't come soon enough.
It's gonna be a busy month!

i remember the days when u didnt even have to line up!
but I wouldn't be suprised if she still did this.. she's been doing it from the start and even when she was doing jam packed metro shows with massive ques she would still wait for everyone in line to come through. so I wouldnt put it past her to attempt it at the enmore.

as for the shows.. i was at work all day:( going to get me some enmore tickets now.. will have to be dance floor.. which i'm not big on!

There was some confusion about age for the shows from the first announcement.
It has been cleared up and the date in Adelaide is an all ages show.
Stop reading this and go buy your ticket before they are all gone.
Dont miss out.

I'm going to first 3 gigs of Tour - Byron, Caloundra & Lyric.
Anyone else going to the first 2?
I assume the usual crew of FANimals will be at what can only be an Epic "Homecoming" Gig at The Lyric.

Great stuff bekka... good to see you're well prepared

The Forum is a great place, we had a mates 21st Birthday in there, its an awesome building, i just LOVE it!! That blue ceiling that looks like the sky!
Funny enough, the last act i saw in there was this guy....

Although the Geelong venue leaves a lot to be desired.
GPAC is Grandmas Ville!!
It feels like you are in a Uni Lecture Theatre.... or Parliament House Question Tme.
P.S. Get your ass down here Steve!

Best thing I did at The Forum was head over there one night after a few screenings, as it was the Melbourne Film Festival bar. Sitting on beanbags and listening to some crazy Italian mod dj was great.

Grape love to catch a KMH show in Melbourne, the best I have managed is when we drove to Apollo Bay to see Kate last year.
Mechanics institute what a show! With Franky Walnut doing his famous love song complete with thong guitar playing.

Dont panic everyone, I have contacted Panthers and Tickets are still available. You can get tickets through Ticketek and also direct from the club.
It is a warning to everyone though, get the tickets now or be disappointed later.
Kirby

I thought that meant sold out?

Kirby
Oct 27 2009, 10:26 AM
I'd love to, but all the gigs I was considering are during the week when I have to work.
And I wouldn't have been able to afford to get up there/accomodation etc.
So I just chose the penrith show cause i hadn't bought my tickets yet
